Nine Peaks Courtenay Townhomes FAQ
FAQs
Purchasing & Legal
Can I purchase a home at Nine Peaks today?
We are currently in the "Information and First Access" phase while we finalise the Developer’s Disclosure Statement, which is expected to be ready in approximately three weeks (early February). We encourage you to join our PEAK list to be the first to receive the document and start the official process
When is the move-in date?
We are slated for Spring 2026 move-ins.
The Build & Quality
What is the "Red Seal Standard"?
This means your home isn't built by a corporate broker, but by Red Seal carpenters who are on-site every single day ensuring quality control. We’ve prioritised materials that last, such as TPO Roofing (guaranteed for 50 years) and stucco/siding engineered for the coastal climate. Our goal is a home that remains a flagship of modernity for decades without needing major renovations.
Is the layout sufficient for an active lifestyle?
Yes. We spent five years refining these floor plans to ensure every square foot offers maximum utility. The design features high-end finishes, modern minimalist kitchens, and dedicated flex/remote office spaces, making the home feel significantly larger than its footprint.
Lifestyle & Amenities
Why is there a focus on green space over parking?
We believe people value living in a beautiful garden more than walking 40 extra steps to their car. By trading excessive paving for vibrant green spaces and communal areas, we’ve created a safer environment where kids can play without crossing a street.
What gear storage is available?
Each home is designed as a recharge hub for your adventures. We offer EV-ready parking and dedicated e-bike charging as standard. For those with extra gear, we can provide custom gear sheds or racks as a builder-direct add-on.
What is the "Trail-to-Tap" location?
Nine Peaks features a private "Neighbour Gate" with direct access to the Rotary Trail. This active transport corridor allows you to walk or bike to the river, local grocery stores, and craft breweries like Gladstone in minutes.
Strata & Ownership
What do the strata fees cover?
In Courtenay, strata fees typically cover essential services like water, sewer, and garbage.
What are the benefits of a new 9-unit strata?
A smaller, boutique strata is often more transparent and easier to manage than a massive complex. Additionally, because these are new builds with a warranty, you avoid the immediate high-cost repairs or depleted reserve funds that often lead to "special levies" in older buildings.
